Australian Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships 10-13 Oct 24
The Western Flames Ice Racing Club is gearing up for an exciting time at the Nationals next week, with eight of our skaters ready to represent Western Australia in the races. It's a moment of pride and anticipation for the club as we look forward to seeing our athletes shine under the competitive spotlight. The club extends its best wishes to all the participants, hoping for a performance that reflects their hard work and dedication.
The club's commitment to growth is evident. Some members are seizing the opportunity to expand their horizons at the development camp. Meanwhile, two members are on their way to becoming accredited coaches, and another is training to be an accredited official. These roles are crucial, as they ensure our sport's integrity and the nurturing of future talent.
As the Western Flames Ice Racing Club looks forward to what their representatives will bring home, it's clear that the true prize is the experience, the memories, and the advancement of the sport in Western Australia.
